    MANUFACTURING PROCESS PREPARE MAERIAL: According to the standard and design structure provided by the developer. Collect, inspect and weigh air bladder and carbon fiber prepregs to verify that all materials are included.The weight must be within to lerance if you want to pass and move on to the next process. The weight and personnel ID# are recorded on the computer to keep the record permanently. LAYUP: Each rim uses our carefully designed fixture to make the carbon fiber prepreg layer. Our most experienced workers apply the prepreg by hand, and most of the rim processing process takes 30-45 minutes. MOLDING: When forming a carbon fiber rim, the temperature and air pressure control process is very important, which determines whether yourproduct has a flawless finish. We use the latest generation of machinery to achieve the most stable temperature and air pressure throughout the heating, curing, and cooling process. Carefully control all aspects during the ~45-minute cycle. DRILLING: It is a computer-controlled drilling machine that customizes each spoke hole to an exact position and angle.You can request a customized drilling pattern if you have a unique wheel build. All rims are drilled with a high-speed CNC machine. DETAILING: This is part of our carbon fiber rim processing, removing the excess resin wicked away during the curing process,and deburring the spoke holes. PAINTING: We have an independent spray paint production line and strictly control every link, Glossy and Matte finishes,and customized graphics are available. FINAL QC CHECK: In addition to standard quality control inspections on carbon fiber rims, we also check roundness(must be within 0.2mm), flatness(within 0.15mm), and with some products, the tire pressure check is performed. WHEELSBUILDING: All Ornan wheels are lashed and trued by hand. The wheel builder has 10 years of experience and can recognize some issues tools cannot.There are needs at least 4~5 stress relieve rounds during the process. PACKING: Final confirmation of customer receipt information.     LATERAL STIFFNESS TEST TEST FACILITY The lateral stiffness of road or MTB carbon fiber rims was tested on the Universal Testing Machine (UTM), which has a solid base and a clamping device for firmly hold the rim. Above is a compression fixture to apply an increasing force,and all rim deformation data arerecorded by the sensor above the compression cylinder. The sensor data will be synchronized to the computer, and after the test is completed, the test results will be sorted in the data table. TEST CONDITIONS - Compression ltem ,Stainless steel cylinder - Moving Speed ,0.4mm/s - Test Positions ,Valve hole side and Perpendicular to the valve hole - Controller ,Remote Control VERTICAL STIFFNESS TEST TEST FACILITY The vertical stiffness of carbon fiber road or MTB rims tested on the Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Above of which is a steel clampthat pulls the spoke upward, gradually increasing in force until the spoke breaks or it pulls through the rim.Pulling force, rim deformation, and the breaking point data are recorded. TEST CONDITIONS - Testing Speed,5mm/min - Spoke,Sapinm Race (1.8/2.0/2.0) - Test Positions,3:00 / 6:00 / 9:00 - Test Method,Destructive - Nipples,External Nipples - Hole Angle,+/-6° IMPACT RESISTANCE TEST TEST FACILITY Our impact test machine consists of a metric scale on the inner side of one pole to measure the drop height,a striker that can automatically move up and down,and a rigid base to hold the wheel firmly. Between thefront two poles is a spring to keep the test point right under the striker. TEST CONDITIONS - The impact mass of the steel anvil weighs at 22.5kg. For XC rim, our required impact height is 400mm(energy 90 Joules) ; For Trail rim, our required impact height is 450mm(energy around 100 Joules); For all mountain, enduro, our required impact height is 550mm (energy 1225 Joules). - Impact in valve hole, the opposition position of valve hole, and choose any spoke position. PRECISE LAYUP When laying workers carry out the carbon fiber laying orientation, Every standard generated is implemented in our layup schedule documents. SMOOTH INSIDE WALL We use specific, thinner, high-pressure air bladders to control the inner wall smoothness, and are completely removed without harsh chemicals. They are removed through the valve hole with a unique process.We are already very mature in this technology. BEAD LOCK TECHNOLOGY Bead locks are small ridges on either side of the drop channel to help create a buffer during tire inflation,making the installation process easier. HOOKLESS TECHNOLOGY Gravel rims and  650B, 29er rims utilize a hookless design.  Without the hook, we were also able to thicken the rim wall, making it even stronger.
