After the mountain bike world has gone through the evolution from 26-inch to 29-inch wheels, each increase in wheel diameter has brought a leap in passability, efficiency, and stability.

Will 32-inch be the next mainstream product? As a wheel rim manufacturer, we believe it is both an opportunity and a challenge. However, in order to indirectly promote the development of new specifications, we actively embrace changes and have made molds for 32-inch specifications to meet customer needs.

32 inches is by far the largest mountain bike wheel diameter, 64 millimeters larger than the BSD (Bead Seat Diameter) of 29 inches, which directly brings several performance improvements. In terms of rolling efficiency and stability, a larger wheel diameter means a smaller angle of attack, enabling smoother rolling over obstacles such as tree roots and rocks. At the same time, the larger longitudinal contact area makes it easier for the wheels to maintain their trajectory, improving high-speed stability. 

The UCI has officially opened up the use of 32-inch wheels for cross-country races, paving the way for their application in professional competitions.
For now, 32-inch wheels are actually a highly specialized and niche choice. Theoretically, they are designed for riders who are tall or pursue extreme rolling efficiency in long-distance flat races such as XC marathons. Meanwhile, 32-inch wheel size represents the cutting edge of mountain bike performance exploration, a gift for riders who are not satisfied with the status quo and dare to push boundaries.
