DESCRIPTION

The ORNANBIKE PRO 26mm Series is a range of ultralight 700C carbon clincher rims developed for road bikes with rim brakes. 

Built with T700 and T800 carbon fiber, the series combines a 19mm internal width, 25.5mm external width, and a U-shaped rim profile.

Seven rim depths are available, from 33mm to 65mm, with Standard and Flyweight layup options. The lightest Flyweight models start at approximately 390g per rim (±15g), offering wheel builders flexibility when balancing rim weight, depth, and rider requirements.
The rims feature a grooved 3K twill carbon braking surface, a double-wall construction, and a tubeless-ready clincher design compatible with appropriate tubed or tubeless tire setups. 

Recommended tire widths are 25–35C. Features improve rolling resistance, comfort, traction and reduce the propensity for flat tires.

Technology Behind the PRO 26mm Carbon Rim Brake Series

1. High-Tg Carbon Brake Track with Grooved 3K Twill Finish

High TG resin temperature 255° brake track, solve the heating problem on the rim brake clincher bicycle wheels.

The grooved track helps to evacuate trapped moisture between the brake pad and carbon rim under wet. it bears a higher temperature while braking, but for faster braking heat elimination. More friction, less lever force needed, and shorten about 30% braking distance. More friction to shorten the braking distance.

2. Tubeless-Ready Clincher Rim Bed

The bump on the rim bed helps to create a buffer during tire inflation, making the mounting process easier. The bead locks allow for an easy switch between clinchers and tubeless setup.

3. Ultra Smooth Inner Wall

Use specific, thinner, high-pressure air bladders to control the inner wall smoothness, The result is that we could see a very clean and smooth inner wall, which means the carbon fabrics are stretched smoothly and optimized. This could ensure the best strength of the fabrics.

4. Fast Tire Installation

Easy installation and removal of normal tube tires and tubeless tires.

5. Double Wall Design and Aero Technology

We use a double wall design to better control the rim strength and stiffness during layup. Rim profiles are specially designed with aero gains and drag reduction in mind.

6. Customized Spoke Hole Angle Drilling Technology

High-speed CNC machine tools drill carbon fiber rim spoke holes. Customized according to the geometric angle of the hub. Check all drill holes to make sure they are free of burrs.

1. Are the PRO 26mm carbon rims tubeless ready？

Yes. The PRO 26mm Series features a tubeless-ready clincher design that supports compatible tubeless tires as well as conventional tire-and-tube setups. Follow the appropriate tire, tape, valve and pressure requirements when assembling the wheel.

2. What is the difference between Standard and Flyweight rims version?

They have different weight limits. Since they have different layup design to suit different usage and riders.Flyweight is suitable for riders who want to pursuit lightweight upgrade. 

3.  Which rim depth should I choose for road cycling?

Shallower options such as 33mm and 35mm may suit weight-focused builds, while 45mm and 50mm offer a middle-ground profile. The 58mm and 65mm options can be considered for deeper-section wheel builds. Actual aerodynamic performance depends on the complete wheel and tire setup.
