26mm wide Carbon Tubular Rim Brake Rim

The ORNANBIKE ORN726 Series is a range of lightweight 700C carbon tubular rims designed for road racing and custom rim-brake wheel builds.

Manufactured with Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber, the series features a 26mm external width, U-shaped rim profile, and double-wall construction. Seven rim depths are available, from 25mm to 88mm, with the lightest 25mm model weighing approximately 230g (±15g) per rim.

For wheel builders seeking an asymmetric design, the ORN726-40TA and ORN726-50TA feature a 2.5mm offset intended to help balance spoke tension in suitable wheel builds.

The rims feature a high-Tg carbon braking surface with a 3K finish and are designed for compatible tubular tires. Recommended tire widths are 25–32mm.

Technology Behind the ORN726mm Tubular Carbon Rim Brake Series

1. High TG 255°C Brake Surface

High TG resin temperature 255° brake track, solve the heating problem on the rim brake clincher bicycle wheels.

2. Ultra Smooth Inner Wall

Use specific, thinner, high-pressure air bladders to control the inner wall smoothness, The result is that we could see a very clean and smooth inner wall, which means the carbon fabrics are stretched smoothly and optimized. This could ensure the best strength of the fabrics.

3. 2.5mm Asymmetric Rim Design

The ORN726-40TA and ORN726-50TA feature a 2.5mm asymmetric offset.

This design can help wheel builders address spoke tension differences between the two sides of a wheel. The final tension balance depends on hub geometry, lacing pattern, and wheel-building specifications.

4.Lightweight Double-Wall Carbon Construction

ORN726 series  are manufactured using T700 and T800 carbon fiber with a double-wall construction and additional reinforcement around the spoke-hole areas.

The series offers a range of rim depths and weights for different road wheel-building requirements.

5.CNC Spoke-Hole Drilling

Spoke holes are CNC-drilled according to the required wheel-building geometry.

Hole position and drilling angle can be evaluated for selected hub and spoke configurations to support accurate assembly.

Yes, 5 braking surface systems for riders are optional, including UD, Basalt, 3K, 3K twill, Grooved 3K twill.
